Input Suppliers, Farmers, Collectors, Processors, Traders, Wholesaler, Retailer and many other service providers interact to conduct the agriculture value chain. The length and complexity of the network among these actors is supposed to be a great challenge for agri-business only in the absence of a packaged system for effective interaction.

With the aim of promoting agriculture as a financially sustainable business venture, Agriculture Business Promotion and Training Center, Sudurpashchim Province has made its digital attempt to connect buyers and sellers of agriculture based commodity through a single platform. Farmers, farmers groups and cooperatives within the province can register themselves as sellers of agriculture products. Other actors of the agri-value chain will similarly get connected as per their role of input supplier or consumer. Each actor contributes with their information on availability or demand of respective goods/commodities, obtains regularly updated information on market price and involves in digital interaction for buying or selling.

The orientation, held on 8th June 2022, empowered the agriculture personnel from Ministry of Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives to run the system effectively and ensure active participation from all the stakeholders. The Online Platform for Buying and Selling of Agriculture Commodities has profound scope for improving the current market system of agriculture system.
